In the JV game, West Plains had one of it’s better games of the season. The teams battled to a scoreless tie at halftime. With no lights, there was no guarantee how long the second half would last. Eight minutes into the second half, The Wildcats took a 1-0 lead off of a corner kick that was headed in the goal. The Zizzers kept working and had some chances, but couldn’t score until the 15th minute of the half. The ball was sent forward to Josh Campbell who ran onto to it and went toward goal before sending a shot that hit the inside of the far post and went into the goal to tie it up. The teams played for about two minutes after that and then the game was called due to darkness. It was a great effort for the Zizzers and it was nice to see them keep working after the Wildcats goal and comeback to tie it up.
