Christopher Lee Chapman, 17, a resident of Mountain Home passed away Thursday, June 14, 2012, in Bull Shoals.

He was born May 10, 1995, to Kaylon Jason Chapman and Dawn Marie Snurr Harper. Christopher enjoyed playing on the computer, video games and guitar. He was a very good artist and writer, especially poems.

Survivors include his Father, Kaylon Chapman of Mountain Home; his mother, Dawn Harper (Robert Matthew) of Bull Shoals; a brother, Jason Smith of Statham, Georgia; a sister, Kristi Chapman of Mountain Home; paternal grandparents, Lonnie and Ramona Chapman of Gassville; maternal grandfather, Joseph Snurr, Sr. (Theresa) of Cotter; maternal grandmother, Sandra Snurr of Maryland; numerous aunts and uncles and other relatives and friends. Christopher was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Barbara Chapman.

The funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at the Conner-Hankins Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Roger Pittaway officiating. Burial will be in Quality Ridge Cemetery near Mountain Home under the direction of Conner-Hankins Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday at Conner-Hankins Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
