Geneva H. Hill, age 90, daughter of JohnThomas and Ruey (Holly) Hayes was born June 12, 1924 in Beulah, Missouri. She passed away on July 14, 2014 in Houston, Missouri.

Geneva attended school in the Licking area, graduating from Licking High School in 1943.

She married Joe Rogers 1946 and to this union two daughters were born, Anita and Kathryn.

She later married Aubrey Hill on December 15, 1966. He passed away on March 7, 1986.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter Kathryn Lowe and one brother Harold Hayes.

She is survived by her daughter Anita Kolarik and husband Ray of Traverse; Michigan, five grandchildren, Brian Kolarik, Tammy Kinzel, Sherry Kolarik, John Kolarik, and Stephen Lowe;

Six great grandchildren, Stephen, Christy, Amber, Eric, Niki, and Lexi; four great-great grandchildren, Mariah, Logan, Kaiden and Harper; one brother Harry Hayes of Salem, MO and several other family members.

Geneva worked as a teller for many years at the Bank of Houston.

She loved knitting, reading, baking and cooking. It was fun to visit her and be invited to enjoy the many special dishes she made. Many of her knitting projects were given to family and friends. They will be a reminder of her special love to all those she cared for and loved.

Visitation will be Friday July 18th, 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM in the Evans Funeral Home. Services are to follow at 11:00 AM. Pastor David Barbee will officiate with burial in the Pine Lawn Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Houston House Residents Fund. Services were under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
