Margaret Mary (Matthews) Glaab died peacefully after a long illness on Thursday, June 5, 2014 in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
She was born December 4, 1924 in Orange New Jersey to the late Joseph and Margaret (Feldhaus) Matthews. Mrs. Glaab was a homemaker. She also was a Catholic CCD teacher for several years in New Jersey and New York. After the death of her husband, James A. Glaab, Sr. in 1994, she moved from Greene, New York to Branson, Missouri. Margaret loved being in Branson and enjoyed working in the theaters and seeing the shows. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
Survivors include one son, James Glaab, Jr. and his wife Mary in Gordonsville, Virginia; a daughter, Margaret (Margie) Griffin and her husband Gary of Bull Shoals, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Steven Glaab and his wife of Chicago, Illinois, Jennifer Glaab of Knoxville, Tennessee, William Glaab and his wife of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Michelle Beckmann of Rogers, Arkansas and Robert Beckmann of Rogers, Arkansas and four great grandsons.
Services are private under the direction of Conner-Hankins Funeral Home.
