Gary Clayton Fike, 49, of Willow Springs, Missouri went to be with our Lord January 2, 2014 in West Plains, Missouri. He was born October 19, 1964 to Elmer Clayton Fike and Ina (Ditmars) Fike in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, January 7 at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of the Brethren in Peace Valley. Interment was Friday January 3, 3:30 pm at Sojourners Cemetery

Gary attended school in Flagstaff, Arizona through fourth grade and then finished school in Washington, Kansas, graduating in 1982. He graduated from McPherson College in McPherson, Kansas in 1986 majoring in Agricultural Science.

Gary married Jill Dawn Olson on May 31, 1997 in Washington, Kansas. To this union two children were born, Ezra Clayton and Linnea Janine.

He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Alva and Edna Fike of Peace Valley, MO and maternal grandparents, Alva and Nora Ditmars of Washington, Kansas.

Those who mourn his passing and the light and love he provided, are his parents, Elmer and Ina Fike, wife, Jill Fike, children, Ezra and Linnea Fike, all of rural Willow Springs, MO and sister, Rita Gysin of Vanzant, MO. He also leaves behind a wide circle of friends and community.

He was a wise and gentle man whom we dearly miss.
