Funeral services for Harry “Gene” Cline, 86, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 30, 2013 in the Rose Chapel of the Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mr. Cline died 10:20 a.m., Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at his home. He was born September 1, 1927 in Oregon County, Missouri to Silas Grant and Icy Ida Ross Cline. On June 9, 1949, he was married at Salem, Arkansas to Louise Bates. Mr. Cline was a veteran having served with the United States Army during World War II. Before his retirement, he worked as a carpenter and was a farmer. Mr. Cline attended the Smith Chapel Church.

He is survived by his wife, Louise Cline, of the family home; two children, Donna Jackson, husband, Russ, Springfield, Missouri and Steve Cline, wife, Linda, West Plains, Missouri; three grandchildren, Scott Cline, West Plains, Missouri, Michelle Hammond, husband, J.D., West Plains, Missouri and Staci Quintana, husband, Richard, Springfield, Missouri; three great-grandchildren, Jacob & Jessica Hammond and Morgan Hodges; and several nieces and nephews.

His parents, one sister, Virgie Newberry, five brothers, Garnet, Bill, Herbert, Glen and Grant Cline, one half-sister, Eunice Cunningham and one half-brother, Oak Cline, precede him in death.

Visitation will be from 9:00 until service time, Saturday, November 30th, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be at Elk Creek Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Gideon Bible Society or St. Judes Children’s Hospital and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. On line condolences may be expressed at
