Floyd Clay Stover, 82, retired teacher and farmer, died on October 21, 2013 at Willow Care Nursing Home, Willow Springs, Missouri. He was born on November 12, 1930 to parents, Carlos and Mary (Hannah) Stover in Montier, Missouri.

Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Friday, October 25, 2013 at Yarber Mortuary in Mountain View. Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 26 at Yarber Mortuary, with interment at Montier Cemetery, Montier, Missouri.

Floyd is survived by his wife, Norma Lee (Price) Stover; daughters, Linda Stover-Stoffregen (Steve) of Rose Hill, KS and Kathy Stover of Redwood City, CA; grandsons, Alex and Andrew Stoffregen; sister, Agnes Carmack of Shawnee Mission, KS; brother, Larry Stover (Dianna) of Bakersfield, MO; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Nadine Krase.

Floyd served his country in the United States Marines. He taught Vocational Agriculture for 27 years. After retiring, he enjoyed raising cattle on his farm in Birch Tree.
