Larry U. Hargrove, 67, a resident of Mountain Home passed away Monday, January 23, 2012, at his home.

He was born March 13, 1944, in Judsonia, Arkansas to Uzell Boyd and Ethel Page Hargrove. Larry had many careers during his working years. He spent over 30 years at Sears in Indio, California where he held several positions including service technician, service manager and store manager. On March 31, 1989, in Desert Hot Springs, California Larry married Zenaida Faderugao. Larry and Zenaida moved to Mountain Home in 2006 from Indio, California. He had many hobbies and interests including, traveling, gardening, motorcycle and being the neighborhood computer guru. Larry is preceded in death by his father; a son, Larry Hargrove; a brother, Jerry Hargrove and a sister, Jane Alvarez.

Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Zenaida Hargrove of Mountain Home; a son, Jimmy Hargrove of Thousand Palms, California; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Joan and Robert Bauer of Garrison, North Dakota and Joyce and David Foreman of Searcy; a sister-in-law, Patricia Hargrove of Indian Wells, California; a brother-in-law, Tino Alvarez of Indio, California as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 28, 2012, at the Conner-Hankins Funeral Home Chapel with Father Jim McDonald officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Conner-Hankins Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the Hospice of the Ozarks.
