A Memorial Mass for William Eugene Pace, 81, West Plains, will be at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, December 31, 2011 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mr. Pace passed away peacefully at 4:41 a.m., Saturday, December 24, 2011 at the Ozarks Medical Center, West Plains, Missouri. He was born July 18, 1930 in St. Louis, Missouri to Lee and Marie Hogan Pace. On April 3, 1956, he was married at St. Louis, Missouri to Eleanor Brewer. Mr. Pace was a veteran having served with the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict. Before his retirement, he was employed as a quality engineer with McDonnell-Douglas. Mr. Pace was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 55 years, Eleanor Brewer Pace, of the family home; son, Scott Pace, wife, Peggy, Edwardsville, Illinois; daughter, Susan Bowles, husband, Dr. Richard Bowles, Jr., West Plains; daughter, Barbara Kerwin, husband, Colin, Dallas, Texas; seven grandchildren, Emily Pace, Molly Pace, Danny Meyer, Tommy Meyer, Joey Meyer, Erin Kerwin and Luke Kerwin; one brother, James Pace, wife, Elaine, Brentwood, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.

His parents, one granddaughter, Ann Kathryn Kerwin, two brothers, Jack and Lee Pace and three sisters, Loretta, Mary Jane and Rose, precede him in death.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Ann Kathryn Kerwin Fund and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
