Juanita Pettit, 92, of St. Louis passed away on Thursday, October 25 in St. Louis.
Funeral services will be 10 AM Tuesday, October 30 at Duncan Funeral Chapel in Eminence, with interment in Munsell Chapel under the direction of Duncan Funeral Homes of Eminence.
The family will receive their friends from 6-8 PM Monday, October 29 at Duncan Funeral Chapel in Eminence.
Funeral services for Opal Louise Woods, 89, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 31, 2012, at Junction Hill Pentecostal Church, Howell County, Missouri, with Reverends Dwain Galiher and Floyd Parks officiating under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains.
She was born the daughter of the late Clyde Miller and Leta Campbell Miller, on February 1, 1923 in Thomasville, Missouri and died October 27, 2012 in West Plains, Missouri.
She was united in marriage January 10, 1942 in Alton, Missouri to Johnny Newton Woods, who preceded her in death June 20, 2012.
She is survived by five children, David Woods and wife, Jerarlene, Birchtree, Missouri, J.R. Woods and wife, Donna, Marion, Illinois, Glenna Green, Salem, Arkansas, Lonnie Woods and wife, Catherine, West Plains, Missouri, and Rebecca Thompson and husband, Barry, Birchtree, Missouri; one brother, Arnold Miller and wife, Hazel, Thomasville, Missouri; two sisters, Lenora Snyder, Peoria, Illinois and Ruby Elliott, Harlowton, Montana; two daughters-in-law, Lillian Woods, White Salmon, Washington and Marilyn Woods, Pryor, Oklahoma; eighteen grandchildren and thirty-three great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; two children, Eddie Woods and Phillip Woods; three brothers, Ernest, Cleo and Irvin Miller; two sisters, Vesta Lewis and Ioma Coble, and one grandson, Spencer Levi Woods.
She was a member of Junction Hill Pentecostal Church in Howell County, Missouri. She was a homemaker and a great mom, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend to many, and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 30, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m., at Carter Funeral Home Chapel, West Plains.
Burial will be in Huddleston Cemetery, Alton, Missouri, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains.
Ashley Kaye Henderson, 26, West Plains, Missouri, died 12:42 p.m., Saturday, October 27, 2012 at the Ozarks Medical Center.
Funeral services for Ashley Kaye Henderson will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 31, 2012 in the Rose Chapel of the Robertson-Drago Funeral Home with interment in the Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
The family will receive their friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 30th, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Gary L. “Hippie” Roberson, 67, will be held on Wednesday, October 31, 2012 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the South Fork Church, South Fork, Missouri, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains.
Mr. Roberson died October 27, 2012 at his home in West Plains, Missouri.

Funeral services for Ruby Johnson, 85, of West Plains and formerly of Thayer, will be held Monday, Oct. 29 at 2 PM at Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Sunday, Oct. 28 at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Thayer Cemetery with services under the direction of Carter Funeral Home in Thayer.
Funeral services for George “Bud” Harvey Corman, Jr., 83, Pomona, Missouri, will be held at the Pomona Christian Church in Pomona, Missouri, on Thursday, November 1 at 1:00pm, with Pastors Marcus Allen and Josh Holesapple officiating, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains.
He was born the son of the late George Harvey Corman, Sr. and Julia Curtis Corman, on December 8, 1928 in Montrose, Colorado and died October 26, 2012 in West Plains, Missouri.
He was united in marriage March 18, 1950 in Willow Springs, Missouri to Mary Jo Bryan.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Jo Bryan Corman, of the home, Pomona, Missouri; two sons, Randy Corman and wife, Tracey, Chesapeake, Virginia; Steve Corman and wife, Teresa, Willow Springs, Missouri; four grandchildren, Chad Corman and wife, Tracy, Chesapeake, Virginia, Amanda Corman, Washington D.C., Dalton Corman and wife, Megan, Willow Springs, Missouri, and Cody Corman and wife, Tabitha, Pomona, Missouri; nine great grandchildren, Joshua and Mason Corman, Willow Springs, Missouri; Colton, Taylor, Madison, and Hunter Corman, Chesapeake, Virginia; Bailey, Tyler, McKala Sprague, Pomona, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Lucille LeFrancois, and three brothers, Bryce, Clair, and Loren Corman.
He was a member of the Pomona Christian Church, Pomona, Missouri. He was a heavy equipment operator for over thirty years on road construction.He also was a cattle farmer.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the youth group at Pomona Christian Church and can be left at the funeral home.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 31, 2012 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home Chapel, West Plains, Missouri.
Burial will be in Howell Memorial Park Cemetery, Howell County, Missourui, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains.
Mr. Proffer died at 9:20 p.m., Thursday, October 25, 2012, at his home.
He was born August 14, 1918, at Swinton, Missouri, to George and Ida Jenkins Proffer. He graduated from Bell City High School with the Class of 1936, in Bell City, Missouri. He was married to Virginia Montgomery Proffer for fifty-two years. One daughter was born to this union. Mr. Proffer retired from Proctor & Gamble in Cape Girardeau and moved to West Plains where he married Jeananne Daily Woodrell. He enjoyed golf, fishing and yard sales. Mr. Proffer was a member of the First Christian Church.
He is survived by his wife, Jeananne Proffer, of the family home; his daughter, Pat Webb, husband, Jerry, Sr., Southaven, Mississippi; one grandson, Jerry Webb, Jr., wife, Shannon, Arlington, Tennessee; three great-granddaughters; and two step-sons, Daniel Woodrell, wife, Katie and Ted Woodrell, wife, Brenda.
His parents and first wife, precede him in death.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until service time, Saturday, October 27, 2012, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Oak Lawn Cemetery. Thelma Henrietta Wilder, 86, of Mountain View, Missouri passed away October 23, 2012 at NHC Healthcare, West Plains, Missouri. She was born October 2, 1926 in Arroll, Missouri, the daughter of Otis and Ollie Brooks.
Visitation is Saturday October 27, 2012, 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Yarber Mortuary.
Services will be Saturday October 27, 2012, 11:00 a.m. at Yarber Mortuary.
Thelma was united in marriage to Frank Elwood Dean on November 17, 1947. They had four daughters, Veda, Donna, Fonda, and Wanda. She was later married to Harold “Cookie” Wilder on August 13, 1994.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husbands, Frank Dean and Harold “Cookie” Wilder; daughter, Veda Johnson; sisters, Verna Konitz, Ethel Doyle, Venda Watson; brothers, infant Lonnie George Brooks and John Brooks; grandson, Kenneth Eugene Martin; great granddaughter, Kelly Cooper; and great grandson, Ricky Johnson.
She is survived by her daughters, Fonda Dean of West Plains, Donna Orchard and husband, Jimmy, of West Plains, and Wanda Orchard and husband, Clark, of Mountain View; son-in-law, Dal Johnson of Willow Springs; eight grandchildren, Dewayne Johnson and wife, Julie, of Willow Springs, Theresa White of Willow Springs, Debbie Bland and husband, Shane, of Houston, MO, Terry Wilkins and husband, Gary, of Winter Park, FL, Ted Martin and wife, Crystal, of West Plains, Amanda Hayes and husband, Billy, of Edgewater, FL, Deana Lee and husband, Lyn, of Myrtle, MO, and David Orchard of Marceline, MO; 16 great grandchildren, Justin, Clayton and Stacie Johnson, Kurt Bryan, Ethan Smith, David Carr, Brandon Wilkins, Brycen Martin, Matthew, Dillon and Cameron Hayes, Derek and Brandin Orchard, Cody Lee, and David Orchard; five great great grandchildren, Alexis and Kamren Bryan, Emma Smith, Kaylee and Tanner Orchard; six sisters, Beulah Tune, Vera Bradley, Betty Charles, Faye Brooks, all of Mount ain View, Eddith Turner of Willow Springs, and Wanda Schodrowski of Hollister, MO; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Troy Michael Brink, 44 of Hardy, Arkansas died on Saturday, October 20, 2012 in Reform, AL.
Born Wednesday, June 5, 1968 in Omaha, Nebraska, he was the son of James Brink and Elaine Miller Brink.
Survived by his son, Jacob Brink, daughters, Micha Brink and Cheyenne Brink. Mother Elain Brink and a sister Lisa Brink.
He was preceded in death by his father.
A memorial service will be held Saturday in the home of Leroy Brink at 51 Liberty Hill Road in Highland. from 1:00 to 3:00pm

Funeral Services for Mr. Don House a resident of Summersville will be held Thursday, October 25th, at 10 Am At Midvale Church in Summersville, with Rev. Emmett Bradford and Rev. James Bradford officiating.
Visitation will be held Wednesday evening, October 24th at Midvale Church from 4 to 8 PM.
A Family burial will be held at a later date under the care of Bradford funeral Home.
