Zelva Brewer

Zelva Lea Brewer, 82, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away Monday, May 4, 2015 in Mountain Home. Zelva Lea Brewer was born November 15, 1932 in Fifty Six, Arkansas to Lewis Garland and Elsie Mae (Gammill) Ward. She was a member of Blue Mountain Missionary Baptist Church.

Zelva is survived by two sons, Donald Hugh Brewer of Mountain View, Arkansas and Douglas Lee Brewer of Monroe, Louisiana; one daughter, Donna Passmore (Dwight) of Alco, Arkansas; two sisters, Joyce Owens (Alton) of Grandview, Missouri and Glenda Kay Martin (Gary) of Mountain View, Arkansas; one special sister-in-law, Wanda Ward; four grandchildren, Darrell Passmore, Dana Henderson, Jeremy Brewer and Angie Sheets; five great grandchildren, Kylie Brewer, Daniel Passmore, Christopher Sheets, Dixie Brewer and Lucy Brewer; five nephews, Ronnie Owens, Tommy Owens, Brian Martin, Terry Ward and Keith Ward and one niece, Vickie Ward. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Udis Brewer and one brother, Dalton Ward.

Arrangements are under the direction of Conner-Hankins Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mountain Home, Arkansas. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Blue Mountain Missionary Baptist Church in Timbo, Arkansas at 2 p.m. with Bro. Daryl Pitts officiating. Visitation will be 1 p.m. until service time at Blue Mountain Missionary Baptist Church. Pallbearers will be Terry Gammill, Tim Gammill, Don Powell, J.L. Broyles, Odis Stevens and Reece Hubbard. Honorary pallbearers will be Darrell Passmore, Dwight Passmore, Jeremy Brewer, Kevin Henderson, Pam Shellstrom, Dr. James Zini and her nieces and nephews. Burial will be in Pordue Cemetery in Onia, Arkansas.
