Florence Mae Huelsenbeck, 91, of Gainesville, MO passed away on April 3, 2015 at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, AR. She was born on April 10, 1923 in Granite City, IL, the daughter of Willis and Pearl (Moon) Forrest.
Florence lived in Granite City as a child but after the death of her parents, she moved to Oklahoma to live with her grandparents. She later moved back to Illinois, then on to Iowa in 1958. It was there she met and married Harvey Huelsenbeck in 1959. In 1972 the couple moved to Gainesville, MO. Harvey passed away in 1996. Florence worked as a waitress in different area restaurants over the years. Her last job was at the Lakeview Café in Lakeview, AR until her health got bad. She was very fond of the time she spent there. Florence was a very loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Florence is survived by seven children Ida Kotouc and husband John of Mountain Home, AR, Betty Ann Broadwater of Arizona, Mary Ann Price of Vinton, IL, John Harley Lamb of Des Moines, IA, Tina Lee Clemons of Indiana, Sandra Kay Childers of Tulsa, OK, Harvey Huelsenbeck and wife Mary of Gainesville, MO; 23 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Willis and Pearl Forrest; her husband Harvey Huelsenbeck; five children Roy Broadwater, Edna Broadwater, Ellick Broadwater Jr., Larry Dale Broadwater and Albert Eugene Lamb; her brother Willis G. Forrest, and infant twin siblings.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, 2015 in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home chapel in Gainesville, MO with Bro. Dale Roberts officiating. Burial will be in the Thacker Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday evening, April 6th from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to the family as a Love Offering.
