(West Plains) – The Annual West Plains Chamber of Commerce Banquet was held Thursday, January 17 at the West Plains Opera House.
Justin Mitchell, with Colton’s Steakhouse, was the the outgoing chair of the Chamber of Commerce, with Dr. Josh Cotter of the South Central Career Center the incoming chair for 2013.
Tom Norton was named an Honorary Member for Life;
Dennis Lancaster was named Educator of the Year;
Toney Aid, right, received a plaque on behalf of the Ozarks Small Business Incubator, which was named the Civic/Nonprofit Organization of the Year;
Dr. Marvin Fowler was named the Humanitarian of the Year;
Reid Grigsby was named the Citizen of the Year;
Tina Jones received the Volunteer of the Year award;
The Customer Service Award was given to Dr. Julie Hart and Hart Family Eye Care;
Invensys Controls was named the Business of the Year;
and Joyce James with Landmark Bank was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award.
The emcee of the event was Russ Gant with Burton Creek Medical Clinic.
