(Mountain Home) – Two Mountain Home residents were arrested Monday after a search warrant was served at a home on North Street in Mountain Home.
46-year-old Ronnie McGaugh was charged with 4 counts of Delivery Of A Controlled Substance, four counts of Distribution Near Certain Facilities, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Endangering The Welfare of a Minor. Also arrested and charged was 35-year-old April Payne of Mountain Home, who was charged with 2 counts of Delivery of a Controlled Substance, 2 counts of Distribution Near Certain Facilities, 2 counts of Unlawful Use of a Communications Device, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Endangering The Welfare of a Minor. Bond was set at $15,000 each.
A press release from the Mountain Home Police Department states that the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office and the 14th Judicial Drug Task Force assisted them in serving a search warrant after a 6 week investigation into illegal sales and distribution of prescription narcotics at the residence, which included the sale of medication that was prescribed to children at the residence.
Three children at the home were released to the custody of the Arkansas Department of Human Services.
