(Mountain Home) – Two men were arrested this morning after authorities went to a Mountain Home residence.
A press release from the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office states that deputies went to search a residence at 11 Costner Ln. for 50-year-old Bobby Morris on an outstanding felony warrant. While at the residence, officers say they found found a 2008 Yamaha scooter in the back yard. After running the vehicle identification number (VIN) through the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) database, it was found that the scooter, valued at $1,949, had been stolen from a residence in Briarcliff on February 19. After arresting both men, police say they found approximately two grams of methamphetamine in Vest’s in his pants pocket, which was seized and taken into evidence.
