Winona Crash Results in Serious Injuries

Winona, MO. – One individual has been seriously injured, and their vehicle was totaled after a crash that occurred on December 10th.

Anthony Cantrell, a 70 year-old man from Winona, was the driver of a 2004 Chevy Suburban. He was travelling Southbound on Highway 19, when he went off the right side of the roadway one mile North of Winona, around 4:30pm.

The Suburban he was driving struck a tree and overturned, the results of which led Cantrell to being seriously injured. He was not wearing his safety device. Cantrell was then transported to Mercy in Springfield for treatment.

This accident was investigated by Trooper K.W. Etherton of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop G.
