(Houston) – The second victim of a shooting that occurred last Wednesday has been identified by law enforcement authorities, and the man accused of killing him may face more charges.
25-year-old Jonathan Foster of Winona is accused of killing 37-year-old James Winton, who was identified last week, and 42-year-old Doug Dearman, who was identified by officials with the Texas County Sheriff’s Department on Monday.
Authorities say Foster admitted to killing Winton and Dearman with a .22 caliber rifle and setting Winton’s home on fire. Foster was charged on Friday with two counts of First Degree Murder, two counts of Armed Criminal Action, and two counts of Shooting a Firearm from a Vehicle.
Texas County Prosecuting Attorney Mike Anderson says more charges, including arson and theft, may be filed.
