(West Plains) – The roll of Irish drums will ring out 7 p.m. Friday, April 5, at the West Plains Civic Center Theater as RTO’s “Celtic Connection 2013,” an Irish/Scottish Review, takes the stage.
The show, originally set for March 23, was postponed by a snow storm.
The troupe of singers, musicians and dancers are performing their annual Celtic review with a mix of songs and ballads celebrating the Emerald Isle with a few English and Scottish numbers thrown in for good measure.
“Celtic Connection” will feature such selections as “Carrickfergus,” “The Lord of the Dance,” “Caledonia,” “Danny Boy,” “May It Be,” “Barbara Allen,” “The Blue Band,” and “The Wild Rover” and many more.
Admission is $6 for adults and $4 for students. Children 6 years of age and under are admitted free of charge. If you come dressed in kilts or traditional dress, you get in for half price.
