(West Plains) – Officials with the West Plains Fire Department say that the filtering system at Armstrong Products in West Plains caused a small fire Monday morning.
Firefighters arrived at the location at 508 W. Thornburgh shortly after 5 AM Monday morning after receiving a call of a possible fire in one of the silos.
Firefighters extinguished the fire, removed the filters and performed an overhaul to make sure there were no more hot spots inside the silo.
Crews were on-scene until 10:53 AM. Second and third shifts were cancelled due to the fire.
(West Plains) – Crews with the West Plains Fire Department, Howell County Rural Fire Department, and other first responders were on-scene early Monday morning at Armstrong Products on W. Thornburgh for a report of a possible fire.
Emergency officials told Ozark Radio News that a possible fire was reported in one of the silos on at the complex.
Second and third shifts at Armstrong have been cancelled for Monday.
