(Houston) – D & L Florist in Houston welcomed a special guest into their shop on Wednesday July 10 for a meet and greet event.
This years Miss Missouri, Shelby Ringdahl of Colombia, Missouri stopped into the shop to visit with the community, take photos, and sign autographs.
Ringdahl, a student at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas, has been pursuing a degree in Musical Theatre with a Business minor has placed that part of her life on hold since her crowning of Miss Missouri on June 8.

Many people have created bucket list or goals of things that they would enjoy doing in life, like sky diving or writing a book. After June 8, Shelby Ringdahl was able to cross something off her bucket list:
Ringdahl will be competing in the Miss America Pageant in Atlantic City, New Jersey this September. She shared that her goal is to make it to the top 15 and then set new goals from there.
Ringdahl’s plans for the future include returning to Texas to finish her studies. After graduation she has high aspiration to one day perform on Broadway and then pursue a career in event planning.
