(West Plains) – The Southern Missouri Home Builders Association has announced that the SMHBA Board of Directors has contracted with Mary Mike Taylor with Mary Mike & Associates, LLC, to provide marketing, operations oversight and project management for the organization as their Association Executive.
Amanda Niemotka, formerly with the organization has taken a position with Missouri State University as Development Events Coordinator.
Association president John Thomason expressed the Southern Missouri Home Builders Association Board of Directors’ regret at Niemotka leaving, but added that she has offered to help with the 2014 Home & Garden Show in a volunteer capacity.
Taylor is a long-time resident of the area and has been a member of the Southern Missouri Home Builders Association for over 15 years. She is a licensed real estate broker in both Missouri and Arkansas and a member of the West Plains Board of Realtors, serving on their Board of Directors. Her background includes retail operations, non-profit organization work, land development, public relations, and sales and marketing. Sustainable community development and the subject of energy efficiency are major interests as well.
She holds professional designations as a Certified Green Professional (CGP®) from The National Association of Home Builders®, Certified Consumer Real Estate Consultant(C-CREC®) from the International Association of Real Estate Consultants®, and a GREEN (GRN®) Professional designation from the National Association of REALTORS®. She is accredited by the Missouri Real Estate Commission to teach real estate education and assists the West Plains Board of REALTORS® with members’ required continuing education for licensure.
