(Ava) – Two people in Douglas County were arrested earlier this month on charges of Elder Abuse and Forcible Sodomy in two separate cases.
56-year-old Leonard Scislowicz of Ava was charged June 3 with Forcible Sodomy – Deviate Sexual Intercourse by Forcible Compulsion. Court documents state that Scislowicz’s estranged wife told authorities that he sexually assaulted her and attempted to rape her one night while they were separated. The arrest came after a recent Grand Jury indictment which resulted from an investigation conducted by Sgt. Vernon Johnson that began in January 2013. Scislowicz in currently incarcerated in the Douglas County Jail in lieu of a $10,000 cash only bond.
55-year-old Clifford Williamson of Mountain Grove was arrested June 18 by Douglas County Deputies on charges of 2nd Degree Elder Abuse. Documents from the Douglas County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office states that Williamson punched his father in the eye. The arrest came after an investigation conducted by Deputy Chris Page and the Division of Aging. Williamson is incarcerated in the Douglas County Jail in lieu of a $15,000 bond.
