I would like to thank you, the constituents of the 143rd District, for trusting me with the opportunity of legislative authority on your behalf. Every vote I have cast has been with the thought of the hard-working people of this district in mind. I have done my very best to represent the values of a pro-gun, pro-life, and a conservative, smaller government. This has been a difficult balancing act, as many of the laws presented are not straightforward, with an initial bill that seems good but is later attached with amendments that may be destructive to our counties. I have also voted to promote only necessary legislation, rather than taking a chance on unnecessary legislation with unintended consequences. These decisions have required research and frequent calls to the many experts in our district to ensure that I represent your best interest. If you have any questions regarding my votes, feel free to contact my office at (573) 751-2264.
In the words of Mark Twain, “You may rest at ease when the legislature is at rest.” So, have a restful summer, as we are adjourned until the next session is called!
“I will be hosting listening posts in your area this summer. Dates and locations will be advertised in the coming weeks.”
