(Willow Springs) – After being created by a vote of the people in the 1940s, the Willow Springs Public Library has served hundreds of thousands of people in the 60-plus years of its existence. Barbara Nyden represented the library board during the most recent meeting of the Willow Springs City Council on Tuesday. Nyden told the council that they were contacted by the Missouri State Library at the beginning of the year, and they received some disturbing news:

The city council also heard from Bob Hines concerning the revitalization of Main Street through advertising.
