(Mountain Home) – The US Army Corps of Engineers is advising landowners adjacent to public lands on Norfork Lake that survey crews will soon conduct boundary line maintenance along a 50-mile section of government boundary starting in the Rand Point area of Fulton County, and then head west and north through Woods Point, Hand Cove and Float Creek. The maintenance will end in the Crystal Cove area of Henderson.

Arrowhead Starr Company of Plainview, AR, who is conducting the maintenance work, will re-establish the existing Corps boundary line. Work will include locating boundary markers, clearing brush on the survey line, and repainting witness post and trees along the line.

Officials with the ACE say that this is part of a yearly boundary maintenance program.
