(Houston) – Two more people have been arrested in connection with a sweeping drug raid conducted last Thursday in Texas County.
Adam Bryson of Houston was arrested in Greene County, Missouri on Friday and brought to the Texas County Jail, and charged with Sale of a Controlled Substance. His bond was set at $350,000.
Also arrested was Greg Vestal of Licking, who was also charged with three counts of Sale of a Controlled Substance, with bond set at $350,000 per count. Vestal was arrested in Newton, KS, and was brought back to Texas County this past Monday.
Texas County Prosecuting Attorney Mike Anderson said in a news release issued earlier this week that a majority of the 40 plus arrests involved the criminal sale of items like prescription medications like vicodin, morphine, and other narcotics and painkillers. The arrests come after a nearly three-year investigation and a convening of the Texas County grand jury.
