(Lebanon) – A nationwide crackdown on synthetic drugs like bath salts and K2 has led to two raids in Lebanon earlier this week.
This past Wednesday, Jefferson Package and Lucky’s Novelties in Lebanon were raided by authorities who were looking for synthetic drugs like bath salts and other synthetic copycat narcotics, which are now illegal.
Police, Laclede County sheriff’s deputies, and DEA agents say that some synthetic drugs were found at Lucky’s, and were purchased by undercover officers. Investigators also claim to have found synthetic marijuana at the Jefferson Package liquor store.
Two other shops were targeted in St. Joseph, MO and other communities across the country.
