(West Plains) – Armstrong employees recently visited the Boys and Girls Club to present a gift of $1,000.
The gift is a contribution to the clubs Annual Giving Campaign aimed to raise $150,000. The gift of $1,000 from Armstrong will be used to run programs that focus on achieving outcomes of better grades, better members of society and healthier individuals.
Armstrong’s previous 2013 gift to the Founders Campaign laid the groundwork for the Boys and Girls Club to open their doors in West Plains. Since their opening, the Club has seen tremendous growth from day one, hosting 30 students to a current membership base of over 400 members, with over 120 coming each day.
