Once again the Drug Drop Off day was a huge success. For the four hour event a steady stream of cars came by the drop off location in front of the Staples Store in Mountain Home and dropped of old medications along with food items and donations to the Food Bank. Sheriff Investigator Brad Hurst, Coroner Elect, Brad Hays along with Mary Jo McLean from the Food Bank of North Central Arkansas were on hand to greet people as they came through.

The totals for the event are:

1199 Pounds of Prescription Drugs to be turned into the DEA for disposal

Approximately 750 meals with monetary donations to the Food Bank along with over 100 pounds of non-perishable food items dropped off.

We would like to thank everyone for their participation and their continued support.
