(Jefferson City)- Missouri Senators in Jefferson City returned to the floor Tuesday, April 15, to debate a number of different measures.

Included in those measures was Senate Bill 992, sponsored by Senate President Pro Tem Tom Dempsey, R-St. Charles, which is legislation that would make the Speaker of the House of Representatives and the President Pro Tem of the Senate voting members of the Board of Public Buildings:


Senator Paul LeVota, D-Independence, offers an amendment that would have called for the Board of Public Buildings to decide when and where to fly the Honor and Remember Flag in response to a recent executive order from the governor:


The amendment was later withdrawn and Senate Bill 992 was given the Senate’s first-round approval.
