(Willow Springs) – Willow Springs City Administrator Bob Pollard spoke with Ozark Radio News about the 10th Street expansion project in the town, which he says will “change the way people drive in Willow Springs”.
The project redirects old Springfield Road and widens 10th Street, allowing more vehicles to pass. The low water crossing was also eliminated, creating a higher bridge that can withstand minor flooding.
Part of the project, which Pollard calls “Phase 2″, will entail building a parking lot off of the project. The lot will be used for people attending the MSU-West Plains/Three Rivers Community College Education Consortium at the Former MoDOT District 9 building.
Paving is expected to begin Friday.
