(Pine Bluff) (AP) – A judge has issued an order barring law enforcement officers from releasing any more information about the case of a 107-year-old Arkansas man who died in a police standoff.

A judge said in an order dated Friday that records relating to an investigation into the Saturday death of Monroe Isadore in Pine Bluff will be sealed.

Pine Bluff police say Isadore shot at officers, who returned fire and killed him.

Special prosecutor Jason Barrett and special deputy prosecutor Jack McQuary have been appointed to handle the case.

Authorities have said they tried using a camera, negotiating tactics and gas before shooting Isadore.

But the shooting has prompted questions from residents and some city leaders in the Arkansas community about 45 miles southeast of Little Rock.
