(Willow Springs) – Troop G of the Highway Patrol recently held a DWI saturation in Texas County, and a total of 17 arrests and 13 warnings were issued.

Captain Dwayne F. Isringhausen, commanding officer of Troop G, says that the arrests and citations came during the August 16 operation on Highways 60 and 63.

Totals from this saturation include:

1 — felony DWI arrest

1 — misdemeanor DWI arrest

1 — C&I summons

4 — speed summonses

2 — seat belt summonses

1 — failed to yield summons

1 — other hazardous moving violation summons

3 — non-moving summonses

2 — driving while suspended/revoked summonses

1 — uninsured motorist summons

The Missouri State Highway Patrol encourages motorists to be safe by buckling up and never drinking and driving.
