(Cabool) – Landmark Bank President John Plummer is proud to announce the promotion of Gayela Linton to Assistant Vice President.

Linton has been with Landmark Bank for more than six years and is the Real Estate Lending officer in Cabool.

“I was pleased to join Landmark Bank when we opened in Cabool,” Linton explained. “I wanted to be part of something with great potential and saw that opportunity with Landmark. Now, with the opening in Mountain Grove later this summer, I also am going to be able to work in my home town while still providing the same service to the customers of Cabool. I am proud to be a part of both communities,” she added.

Linton worked in banking for seven years before coming to Landmark. “I worked in a teller position, assisted with real estate lending and completed personal banker duties, including opening and servicing accounts and loan products with customers.”

A graduate of Norwood High School, Linton moved to Mountain Grove, married her husband Scott in 1997, and now they have three children: Bailey, 13; Taylor, 11; and Gabriel, 7. “Being from this area is a positive attribute and the bonus of the Mountain Grove Landmark later this summer is very positive,” she added.

“I am pleased to see Gayela reach this Landmark in her career,” added President John Plummer. “She is a great asset to our bank and a positive leader as we move forward with plans to expand our services into Mountain Grove.”

Linton and her family enjoy camping and water sports and of course she’s active in her children’s athletics programs – baseball, volleyball and basketball.
