(Jefferson City) – If passed, proposed Senate Bill 207 would allow electric corporations to recover costs for infrastructure replacement projects by adding fees to the bills of customers.

33rd District Senator Mike Cunningham says that he has received numerous calls from concerned citizens across the district, and points out this legislation would have no bearing, whatsoever, on the 33rd Senatorial District:

Cunningham says that those affected by the legislation include customers of Ameren, Kansas City Power and Light, and Empire Electric District out of Joplin.
